How does airbrush tanning work?
the ingredient in dihydroxyacetone (DHA) does not produce a "real tan" by increasing melanin levels, but it creates a tanned appearance by developing a brown color on the surface of the skin.
does a Spray tan protect me from the sun?
No. Spray tanning solution does not have any kind of UV protection in it. If you are going to be out in the sun, use a spray tan friendly sunscreen.
How long will my spray tan last?
most clients will achieve 7-10 days with the proper prep and aftercare steps. The life span of a sunless tan also depends on your skins natural exfoliation.
what do i wear for my appointment?
You may wear your own underwear, swim suit or nothing at all during your spray session. Remove all jewelry before your spray until after you rinse. I recommend wearing dark, loose-fitting clothing right after your session until rinse time.
can i shower, swim or workout with my spray tan?
yes! Be sure to wait until after your first initial rinse to ensure the best tanning results. Swimming and working out can cause premature fading.
